Grameen Communications is actively involved with micro-finance and welfare institutions from Bangladesh and other countries. Grameen Bank The GC-developed software, Grameen Banker, is currently supporting the smooth operation of All Branches of Grameen Bank through the Data Management Center, which serves more than 8 million active borrowers throughout Bangladesh. Jagoroni Chakra Foundation (JCF) Jagoroni Chakra Foundation (JCF), a member organization of PKSF (Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation) is another renowned user of Grameen Communications’ (GC) microcredit software. JCF is a voluntary social welfare organization committed to address the needs of the poor in the community by focusing on their social and economic development. This microcredit software is running successfully in its branches throughout the country under the name “Jagoroni Chakra Foundation (JCF) MIS”. MIS Software for CASHPOR Financial & Technical Services, India CASHPOR, a financial organization in India provides microcredit loans like Grameen Bank. The MIS Software for CASHPOR Financial & Technical Services contains 3 parts: The Portfolio Tracker, The Monitoring Part and The Accounting Part. CASHPOR automates its branches fully and transfers data to head office and monitors the performance of each branch smoothly with GC's MIS Software. MIS Software for ASHI, Philippines ASHI, a Philippines-based micro-credit organization, follows Grameen Bank operations. Grameen Communications developed a micro-banking program, MicroFinance Manager XF, for ASHI to automate their field level operations as well as head office level operations. The software has 2 major modules: The Operations Module and Accounting Module. The software can manage and update information for each borrower and performs the operational and accounting tasks in an automatic process. There are a number of reports that are very useful for different management levels. The product has the ability to transfer consolidated information from the branch level to head office level. This enables ASHI to monitor its performance better than ever before. Microcredit Software for MORIS RASIK, East Timor MORIS RASIK – East Timor provides microcredit loans like Grameen Bank. The microcredit software contains 3 parts: the portfolio tracker, the monitoring part and the accounting part. MORIS RASIK - East Timor will be able to automate its branches fully and transfer data to the head office and monitor the performance of each branch from there. Microcredit Software for Ganaesha Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia Ganaesha Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia provides microcredit loans like Grameen Bank. Ganaesha Foundation will be able to automate its branches fully to transfer data to the head office and monitor the performance of each branch from there. Accounting Software for Central Accounts Department, Grameen Bank Grameen Communications is in the process of developing accounting software for Grameen Bank Central Accounts. All accounting processes in Grameen Bank’s zonal offices will be automated with this software. This software will be used to transfer the consolidated data to the Head Office and analyze the data to get an accurate accounting scenario of Grameen Bank’s projects. Loan Management Software for Grameen Trust Grameen Trust gives loan to Grameen replications as financial assistance. These loan activities are monitored by software developed by GC. Corporate Accounting and MIS The software system is a client-server based scalable accounting system designed for large organizations. It has various attractive features, including general ledger preparation, balance sheets, income-expenditure statements, cash flow diagrams, web interface to all reports and analysis. Store Management Software for Beco Packaging Corporation First Release: December 1999. Beco Group of Industries is a leading packaging industry in the country. GC developed inventory system software for them to automate their inventory management system. Loan Management Software for Grameen Trust First Release: July 2000. Grameen Trust provides technical and financial support to Grameen replications around the world. GC developed software for Grameen Trust to monitor the loan activities. |
