Chilmari Development Information Center, CDIC
(For alleviating Monga from Chilmari Upozela by utilizing ICT Every Corner of the Society )

“No more Monga” keeping this slogan in mind, Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus, Chairman of Grameen Communications initiates alleviating Monga through involving developing activities of Grameen Bank Family Member’s in chilmari. As part of this program Grameen Communications established Chilmari Development Information Center, CDIC in 2006.

Since its inception, CDIC involves ICT development activities in this area. In this regard, software has developed in order to storage socio-economic information of the region. The information is using for our own purposes and researcher, NGO’s etc as well.

CDIC offers Basic Computing Course for Monga affected family members without any cost. Some of them already employed in Grameen Communications and other organizations as well.
