Grameen Communications in its caravan chose to expand its services to rural level, it started to provide IT service to rural, underprivileged population through undertaking ICT based projects in remote areas since 1997.

The need for an integrated software for Micro Finance Institute was felt since the inception of Grameen Bank.  For a clear understanding on Micro Finance system, GC invested a long time to study the mechanism, its needs and scope towards automation. 

GC aims to promote the establishment of an accessible and sustainable information sharing and communication development all over rural Bangladesh for information exchange, information sharing as well as communications development.
